At the age of 25, I lost my wife to cancer, an incurable bran tumour to be exact, caused by the very treatment designed to tackle the first tumour. To me and my 2 kids, we lost everything and hell, I hit an all time low. Absolute Nihilism in its pure form, bereavement can haunt all of us and break our lives in ways we can never imagine, especially after years of fear.
For my kids, it was a moment of sudden courage, "The Initiative" that pushed me through, I powered through and worked on ways of managing grief. Sadness, anger and pain are not the common traits we expect to "help" us move forward. I focused it, honed it and controlled it to drive courage, strength and confidence.
Is it easy? Absolutely not. There will be challenges, but I do not take on 40 clients a month and give a poor catch up once a month, it's 1 on 1, you could be one of 4 clients that I will support on my 90 day program.
